RCMP investigating attempted robbery Monday evening

Quesnel RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying three males associated to a robbery.
At approximately 7pm on Monday, January 9th, 2012, Quesnel RCMP were called to the 200 block of Hartley Street after receiving a report of fight. Investigation determined that a delivery driver was approached by an unknown male suspect who used force in an attempt to steal item(s) in the victim's possession. A struggle ensued.
At this point, two more unidentified male suspects became involved in the struggle in attempts to assist the initial suspect. All three male suspects fled the scene on foot. The RCMP's Police Dog Services and Forensic Identification Section were called to assist with this investigation.
- The primary suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 ft tall with thin build wearing a dark coloured hoody.
- The second suspect is described as a Native male wearing a white hoody with black writing on it.
- The third suspect is described as a shorter Native male wearing a dark hoody.
